WHAT IS A HAIR TRANSPLANT ?

A hair transplant is an operation that involves the extraction of hair follicles from a donor area (usually the back and side areas) and then a transplant into the receipt areas (areas affected by alopecia).

Although there are different procedures for performing a hair transplant, such as FUS and FUE, the medical centers with the latest facilities, as well as the best specialists, use the FUE hair transplant technique ( Follicular Units Extraction ) looking for more natural and definitive results,

Whatever hair treatment you choose at MooemClinic,  the hair transplant performed in our center offers guaranteed results for life at extremely competitive prices.

WHAT IS FUE HAIR TRANSPLANT ?

FUE follicular micrograft consists in extracting the follicular units one by one and then grafting them in the areas needing to be repopulated. This is much more accurate than the rest of the techniques because smaller incisions are made, which also reduces the recovery time after the procedure.

WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW BEFORE THE HAIR TRANSPLANT?

After the hair transplant, the patient must follow the instructions of the medical team,  and must sleep with the head up, avoiding that it rubs.  After the first night, during which you may notice discomfort due to the use of an anesthetic or an anti-inflammatory, you will be examined by the surgeon who intervened.

It will be during this first visit after the hair transplant that you will be informed of the medical treatment to be followed throughout the postoperative period and after twelve months you will be able to appreciate the final result of your transplant.

CAPILLARY GRAFT

The capillary transplantation procedure is usually performed under local anesthesia and take about 3 to 6 hours, depending on the amount of follicles to be transplanted to cover all of your alopecia. It is a non-invasive operation, so that neither during or after it, no pain is felt.

In the case of longer interventions, those in which almost the entire scalp must undergo a transplant, the operation can be extended to 8 hours. In this case the operation is divided into two parts of eight hours with a break in the medical center.

POSTOPERATIVE

After the hair transplant, the pain is usually minimal. However, be aware that in some cases you may feel swelling or discomfort that will disappear after using the medication.

After that, a protective bandage will be placed to prevent the scalp from being rubbed or damaged and it will be removed after three days.  From there you can recover your routine and even,  if you wish you can get back to work without any problem.

During the first few weeks, patients are advised to avoid the sport, to avoid exposure of the scalp to the sun, as well as the use of helmets or hats until the third month.

It will be from this third month that the new follicles will sprout after the grafts transplant have fallen a few weeks after the hair transplant, and they will begin to cover the head.

It is only six months after the hair transplant that you will begin to see how the follicles grow and your hair will be strengthened, with a better quality and more dense than the previous ones.

The final result of the hair transplant is visible twelve months after the procedure. What you will see at the end of this process is the definitive result that you will keep your whole life, because the Mooemclinic hair transplant is guaranteed for life.
